In fact, this is the last time they took a picture of themselves. That's New Year's Eve '01. I guess that year was the year that Dad tried to perfect his "this-is-what-Uncle-Brandon-will-look-like-in-2007" look. Pretty close, huh? It's a little Amish, with that mouth-open-teeth-parted Turner smile going on.
Cooooool.
As you can see, Dad has gone from cool to supercool over the past seven years. But he's still a procrastinator. And I guess so am I, because I haven't posted an update to the blog in quite a while. In fairness, though, I have spent a lot of time locked in this thing:
Note the look of concern. I'm not quite sure how to escape this thing yet. But I have started trying to chew my way out.
Oh, here's me before an exciting day of snail-huntin'.
See that pouch in the front? On a good day, I can nab enough of those slimy suckers to fill that to the top. As you can see, I'm doing my warmups with my snail-grabbing hands, and they're moving so quickly that you can only see a blur. I assure you, it is necessary. Snails are F-A-S-T.
Oh, the other day, I heard I was getting on a plane to Ohio, and I was like...
"Say what???"
Then I heard it was to see pretty much my entire family and I was like...
"Yeah. That's what I'm cooing about."
And I will close with a trivia question. Mom and I were playing historical reenactment the other day. Mom was playing Jimmy Carter.
Ten Sadie hugs to the person who correctly states my role in this historical reenactment.
Love,
Sadie

Peanut? Gimme hugs. You are adorable sweetie, and so funny, but we'll trade less wit for more frequent updates....
Sadie!
You were taking a class in blogology that's what took so long.
You are now the most beautiful blogologist in California.
It will take us a while to go through all of the pictures, but what fun!
We can't, wait for you to get to Ohio
