Flashback - Easter 2009

I went with Grandma Duffy and Mommy to Sycamore for the Easter Party.
I came prepared with my egg basket (I took out all of that funny grass; it was yucky), my sunglasses (just in case the glare from the sun proved to be an obstacle in my egg finding), my coat (it was cold, even though it was sunny and I wanted to stay warmed up tso I could fend off the other kids in my dash for the eggs), and finally, my nuk (it keeps me on my game).
Mommy says the nuk makes me "more cooperative."

Grandma and I are checking out my eggs.
Look, I was able to snag three eggs and a special chocolate one.

The bunny was a little intimidating - not exactly how I pictured him.

I love to smell flowers.

The next day we went to GG and GG's house for their Easter party.
Grandma Cooper gave me this perfect reading chair for Easter.

I like it when Grandpa plays "Whoa Horse."

Aunt Jill and I played Pat-a-cake.
(We also danced - but those videos have already been posted)

Grandpa took me out in the yard and told me all about the beautiful flowers that would come very soon.
And then...
I was able to see my favorite Cousin-of-my-dad EVER...
My partner in crime...
COLE!

He is so hilarious!

Aunt Molly helped my find the eggs that GG hid on her porch.
Goodbye Grandma - see you soon!

Rise and shine!

Sometimes I just have no interest in getting up in the morning. As you might have guessed, I often dream about goats. And ho-sheesh. But, if I suck it up and let Dada change my "dapper," he will often let me look out the "winnow" by my changing table. I always seem to be surprised by what's out there, even though Dada insists that it's the same stuff every time.

I sure do love my Mommy!

Here we are getting ready to make French toast. It's so early I don't even have my face on.

Dada just told the one about the guy, the goat, and the ho-sheesh looking out the winnow. It was very topical. You laugh more when a joke speaks to your own experience.

"So, he asks me if I've seen his Car movie DVD, and I'm-- Oh dang it... don't look up... here comes Henry again... act cool... Sadie, stop laughing... shutup stutup shutup... you're gonna get us both busted..."

Hocking Hills - June 09

Look at this beautiful waterfall! I had a great time playing in the water.

Pawpaw and cousin Henry were tryng to climb that big rock!

"76 trombones.... Henry come back here!"
I think cousin Henry is just about the coolest person I know.

Here's who Daddy had to share a bathroom with while he was growing up.
(Notice the coordinating Marion t-shirts!)

Extended Team Turner + Jill

I am a natural Californian - here I am panning for gold.

"Here June, I'll show you."

A rare glimpse of me cooperating with an adult.
In my defense Aunt Becky is much more assertive than the other adults.
(I don't like holding hands; my typical behavior would be to say "No, No,No!" and sit down on the ground.)

Daddy is catching the waterfall.

Adults NO WAY - Henry OKAY!

June really likes my blocks.

So you think you can dance? Watch me!

This is from Yesterday (8/6/09)

These are my dance moves: turn, shake it, kick and SMILE!

Hit parade...

In this video, I've decided to teach Mommy how to make French toast. She caught on pretty quickly.

And you would not believe this crazy bunny that Dada found! It won't stop jumping on me!

Me tube.

More old stuff. These are what you'd call "classics."
Here's me entertaining the gang around Easter time.

And some more rockin' out.

In this scene, I am so tired that I almost pass out in my high chair. But when it comes to talking about animals, I can always summon the strength. This is after spending all day showing Uncle Brian and Miss Ann around at the zoo. They are impressed with my knowledge of animals. Most people are.
