Fun with Henry and June 6-27-10

Henry and June stayed at our house after Pawpaw's coming home party.
We went to the splash park the next day and had a great time.
Henry and I really liked spraying other kids with this huge water gun.

June did not go through the sprinklers, she ran laps instead.

Mommy was telling me to show different faces for different emotions. This is angry face.

Henry and I were wrestling.

June and I played with the dinosaurs.

And finally, I got some attention from Uncle Brandon.

Welcome Home Pawpaw! July 26, 2010

Henry and June cam back to welcome PawPaaw home from Iraq.

We all sat outside and waited for the bus.

PawPaw hugging Aunt Jill.

Cousin Henry even wore his soldier uniform.

I shared my snack with PawPaw

Maddie's Birthday June 20, 2010

While Lily had bounce house for her third birthday, our neighbor Maddie opted for a petting zoo for her fourth birthday party.
Here are Lily, Maddie, and and I ina cage with bunnies.

I finally got the nerve to jump on their trampoline.
We looked like a lottery hopper with a bunch of 3 year-old girls.

Here is the birthday gang. I don't know any of these girls except for Lily and Maddie. The girl in the pink next to me lives in our neighborhood too.

I got to ride a pony. I took this very seriously.

I also played on their swingset again. Here I am with Maddie - she can pump all by herself and I still need Daddy's help.

More delicious cupcakes!

Father's Day with Duffy's June 19, 2010

This is my great-grandma Duffy. Grandma and Pawpaw brought her along for Father's Day. It was a beautiful day and Daddy and Pawpaw did a lot of planning for the backyard.

Grandma brought me a Dora blanket and even though it is hot at night, I insist on sleeping with it every night. (Oh, and it must be turned so that when I look down the bed I see Dora looking at me.)

Grandma got Pawpaw a tee ball set so he can teach me how to hit a baseball.

I helped him open it.

I wasn't really interested in being told how to do anything.

I liked shagging balls for Pawpaw more than trying to hit them. I don't really understand how to catch and I just hold my hands up while the ball passes by, then I chase after it.

Later that night Mommy and Daddy and I caught lightening bugs. I was a pretty good catcher.

We put them in this jar. (Mommy had to tell me numerous time to stop shaking the jar.)

Happy Father's Day.

Day at the Zoo June 17, 2010

This is me and my friend kangaroo.
Sometimes Daddy will be funny and say "Say What?" Then I'll answer with nonsense, then he answers with nonsense and then I say, "Say Kangaroo". Kangaroo is such a ridiculous word.

The zoo has an awesome playground. Sometimes we skip all the animals and just come to play.

It took me awhile to figure out how to climb up into the playground. They have a baby playground, but I have no interest in that - I am a big girl.
