Giggles

Here's a clip of some excessive tickling. Did I like it? See for yourself.

Serenade Under the Stars

Aunt Jill and Grandma arrived on Wednesday. The whole family went to Mommy's Serenade Under the Stars at her school. This is a nice evening where students, parents, and teachers come out to listen to the music programs at Mommy's school. The teachers put projects on display in the cafeteria and there is a ton of food to eat. (Teachers and students bring their families, and Mommy was so excited to show me off to everybody - especially in my new blue dress!)
Grandma and Aunt Jill were so lucky that the Halversons were still at Serenade when we arrived. They were able to finally meet Mr. Logan. (And Mr. Halverson can also be mildly amusing.)

Grandma and Aunt Jill had a fun time seeing Mommy's school and all her students.

These are Mommy's Team of teachers. Mr. Gray, Mrs. Halverson, and Mrs. Linsley. We all had a great time watching our students perform, eating delicious tri-tip sandwiches, and chatting.

Even Aunt Jill can't stop snuggling Logan!

Fun Times at SMS!

New Toys!

Mommy gave me some new toys this week. I LOVE them. We now have the ring stacker and some blocks.

Rivercats game

Jeff invited a bunch of us to the Rivercats game. It was really hot (105), but it cooled down once the sun set.

We sat out behind centerfield. I had a great time playing with Jacob and Logan. Mommy had fun talking with the adults. We didn't watch very much of the game - but the Rivercats won!

I think Logan is pretty great - I especially liked this baseball on the seat of his pants.

Ms. Mara wouldn't let me hold onto his ear for very long.

Then I decided that I could pull him to me by wraping my arm around him.

Mom stopped that and I was pretty annoyed.

Mom was trying very hard to get a picture where both of us were looking at the camera and smiling - here's Logan's best shot.

Here is my best shot.

And this one is okay of both of us...

Here is the whole crew - Linsleys, Halversons, Palmroses, and Team Turner

(sans captain Adam)

We had lots of fun at $1-hotdog- night with all of our friends.
We can't wait to come back with Daddy!

Playing around 5-14

I like to read my soft Sesame Street book - it makes noises - plus it tastes good.

Look how well I can use my hands!

Does anyone recognize this crooked grin? - I can't figure out whose side of the family it comes from.
Check out those thigh rolls! - super-cute!

I love my sit and spin - I can reach the bottom with my feet (finally).

more pics from Mom's Day 2008

This is my best friend, Nikki. I like to talk to her across the room. I even like to talk to pictures of her, and pictures of cats that look like her. Sometimes she gets close enough and nuzzles me, but I get a little excited and the sqeal usually scares her away. I really surprised her one day when I was feeling her fur - then I decided I wanted it in my mouth, and I pulled her off the couch.

My keys are my favorite thing to suck on - I also like to bang them on things and throw them. Watch out, if you get too chose this could be your hand, or hair, or cheek, or shoulder...

Whatever I can find will work - I especially like to put things in my mouth after they have been thrown on the ground. Everything goes straight to the mouth and gets a heavy dose of Sadie slobber.

Look at me - I can sit up even of I am laughing at Daddy's funny noises! (we miss you Daddy!)

New Camera for Mother's Day

Mommy bought a new camera for Mother's Day because her old one wasn't uploading the pictures.
She started testing it out on my friend Logan because I was asleep. He loves to laugh and giggle.

The flash freaked me out a little bit.

Well, as you can see, they are not starving me out here in California. Check out my cheeks - not quite up to par with my friend Logan, and yet I gain.

Mom LOVES this strawberry hat - Grandma thinks it is ridiculous.

I am doing a good job holding my head up. We are still working on the back half.

"All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up."

This look is fierce - very high fashion!

Check out the zoom and the resolution - you can almost see Daddy in the reflection in my eyes!

In this picture you can almost see the lint that gets stuck in my neck rolls. Every time Mommy tries to clean under my chin, I put my chin down and swat at her hand (or try to eat whatever cloth she is using to clean me with).

Mommy took this great picture of Dad and I. Daddy can be so funny.
